The first Tumml cohort will run from June 2013
through September 2013. Applications for the
Summer 2013 cohort will open in March 2013.

Application

Applicants have one month to submit an application online. The applications will then undergo two rounds of evaluation by a series of judges (members of the Tumml Mentorship Board).

Program

We invite a small group of promising young companies to spend four months working with us in our offices. During that time, we provide them with a customized education curriculum, legal services, access to top-flight mentors and support staff, and opportunities to connect with civic leaders and investors.

Funding

Teams selected for a Tumml cohort are furnished with $30,000 in goods and services, as well as $20,000 in seed stage funding, in exchange for approximately five percent in equity.

Exhibition

On the last day of the four-month program, Tumml program participants have the opportunity to deliver a business “pitch” to a group of VCs, angels, foundations, potential customers, urban policy experts, and government representatives.
